2018 Photo Project

2018 Photo Project
Photo #43
Manzanita Blossom

Manzanita is beautiful, but so hazardous
because it is so flammable and we live in
an area where you need to be mindful of wildfires.
So we are always diligently cutting it back
and pulling out the little seedlings.
The deer are helpful also as they eat the leaves
as they meander outside our home.
Have a lovely Sunday!

  2. Yes you have to keep that stuff down. Russell does a good job at that too.

Have a fabulous day, Kathe. Big hug to you and Russell and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

  3. It's sad that such a pretty bloom leads to danger, and nice that the deer are so helpful with the problem.

  4. I do love the color of the branches though-such a lovely color of red!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
